I love "A Christmas Carol" and I have watched many adaptations. Today I stumbled across this modern version on TV and I really enjoyed it. I can totally see Dicken's Scrooge as a modern day loan shark. Great movie for Christmas!
shareI found this film last year it was on itv 3 I think and I was glad I found it because I think it's one of the best TV adaptations of a Dickens novel. The modern take on the story really shows how Dickens' work can be so relevant even today. I wonder if the man himself would enjoy this version of his story!
It is a star-studded cast too, headed by Ross Kemp, Angeline Ball is such an understated actress, I really wish we could see her more often on our TV screens.
