Going into this movie without any synopsis or trailer

I've been on a Tautou binge after seeing Ameilie. So I assumed this was just going to be a regular romantic film she makes, just like the past two I saw. The cover looks soppy (I didn't see the text), the title in English sounds soppy and the first half of the film it seems a bog standard romantic film which is made even more obvious by the choice of flower shop to begin the film.

Then that twist happens and wow just wow. One of the best films I've ever seen but I think I only feel like that because of my preconception going in. Had I known it was a stalker movie probably wouldn't have had that impact.

I'm so happy I saw Amelie, it's introduced me to French cinema!

Bauer vs. Bourne, that is the question.

Same happended to me. I was actually quite bored the first 30 minutes, then it really caught me off guard.
I liked it.

The change of genre reminded me of Match Point
