Five worst things about this movie. (In no particular order)

Spoiler Alert

1. Madonna's acting. She really was terrible. She kind of just screwed her face up into a bitchy scowl and talked rapidly in a high pitched whine.

2. The scene where she is forced to sing. This scene was bad on so many levels. You know they put the scene in there because she's Madonna so your suspension of disbelief is immediately broken. Secondly she exaggerates the poor singing to such a degree you know she's proud of herself for "being real, like really in the role". The fact is that if she had just used her usual singing voice without electronic intervention it would have been bad enough. Oh and then there is the Fantasy scene where Giuseppe imagines she can actually sing. So cringe worthy.

3. Madonna's body. It is the body of an 18 year old male body builder. Who could possibly find it attractive? I bet Guy is now in therapy to work out why he was once attracted to her. Was his mother a body builder?

4. The cop out ending where Madonna doesn't know that he had sent her the ring and it's played out like some romantic tragedy. See the ending of the original film to see a director with skill and originality at work.

5. Madonna's acting. It really was the worst thing about this film and deserves a second mention in this list!

And then I even watched some of the "Making of" and "Director's commentary" on the DVD and that was just incredibly bad. Madonna making jokes about how she only works with director's that are "well hung"... and Ritchie doing one of the worst commentaries I think I've ever heard...

The original film was a masterpiece compared to this piece of filth.
