I am a madonna fan but never saw the movie until now.
I loved it ..really.
It was very good. She looked fine and acted good.
First 10 Minutes, i thought, oh now..she is so wooden and to cool to act but then later on...well, she was fine.
The most hardest scenes is when she plays EMOTIONS ..she can not really do this ..its not convincing ...but hand on heart it was and is a fine piece of work
If you have watched the original, you will enjoy this movie despite its flaws. Madonna was very convincing as the spoilt socialite. Her ability to be so convincing was the downfall of this movie. The audience could not watch her performance as an actress playing a hateful woman, they only saw her as Madonna playing herself. Our preconceived opinion of her as a vain, incredibly driven and ambitious woman sadly prevented us from seeing the genuine talent in her performance.
