Dub?

Are they dubbing this movie in English? If not, then what's w/ the English actors under the cast list?

Anyone?

It's already been dubbed, but the dub was done in the UK and as far as I'm aware the dubbed version is only available there. Apparently it's dreadful though... I've always watched it subbed...

I got "Millennium Actress" (Region 4 - Australasia) DVD and I just LOVE it so much. It's one of my favourite anime. Strangely on my DVD, I couldn't find cast credits for the English-dubbed vocalists... unless I haven't found them yet.

I regretted buying this film at first because I thought it was a bit weird. Maybe rent it at first to form your own opinion of the dubbing. I've seen this film no less than 10 TIMES. It's made me cry a few times too!

Though I'm probably one of those ones who hates 'dubbed' films, I've always chosen this in the English-language option (that I may not be reduced to just concentrating upon words at the bottom of the screen). I must confess I didn't mind the English-dub. Probably not as authentic sounding as the Japanese but it still does the job adequately for me. I've seen it so many times, I think I can actually have subtitles off with original Japanese language on. I think I know the story enough follow it. In fact, I think that I will try that tonight in the Easter holidays!

Why would you want this dubbed? The voice actors have great emotion in this film. I hate dubbing in pretty much every movie, with the exception of Ghost in the Shell, 'cause the Japanese voice actors in GitS 2 and GitS:SAC:SSS were not the best.

"The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower," is the greatest movie never made.
