More accomplished than Los Muertos?


I'd say yes. This one truly shows that dramatization should be done away with. After initial strangeness you get accustomed to the film's pace and in the end it really is more rewarding than a "conventional" film would be.

Having said that, I like Los Muertos too! :) And I can't wait to see Liverpool.

I believe so too. La libertad was a pretty refreshing film amongst all these lazy self-consciously beautiful flicks filled with static medium shots of walls that frequent film festivals nowadays. It never outdoes its lengthy radical and almost surreal opening woodcutting sequence but few things do.

And yes, Los Muertos is pretty good too but Liverpool is amazing.

As far as I'm concerned, you can drop off the Earth.
