Decent Pinku flick
Well recommended and surprisingly stark, definitely worth checking out with typically high production values. 8/10

Hey mate, glad you dug it, I found it really quite raw and gritty. The pink subgenre is something you just have to check out if you're a fan of exploitation as I've never seen one I've actively disliked but this is one of the better ones definitely.

Its a pretty bleak film, you don't even get to know why hes doing what hes doing but its not as crazy as some over the top as stuff like tumbling doll of flesh
To be honest the pink "subgenre" confuses the sh!t out of me, when I think pink film I think semi porn/exploitation type horror but plenty of other people also include films like go, go second time virgin or things like shoguns sadism/joy of torture I don't really consider them three pink films ... to be honest I didn't really think to myself serial rapist was a pink film because its not really done in a gratuitous way like other films.
I had a quick look on wikipidia but it isn't horror film specific it just covers pink films as a whole, what's your thoughts on all this from a horror film point of view? Feel free to recommend me a few films to check out as well

Well, I think my own terminology was wrong in my OP as afaik, "pinky" is more exploitative violence/whacky plots whereas "pinku" is more sexploitation, although I'm not certain on this. And afaik, the term doesn't refer to a specific genre of film. But Pinky seems to be more 70s exploitation genre films more than anything else, so that's probably why lots get lumped in under the tag.
I've never actually seen any of the so called Pink films I actively disliked though.

Zero Woman: Red Handcuffs- Kickass flick from start to finish.
Girl Boss Revenge
Assault: Jack the Ripper!
Beautiful Girl Hunter- this one's on youtube without breaks and well worth checking out. I watched it only last week and had a lot of fun with it.

I'm not sure how Ebo is on actual pink films, but I know he's a huge fan of Asian cinema in general, so he may well dig 'em on some level.
But I particularly recommend Beautiful Girl Hunter, Zero Woman and Girl Boss revenge, although all the ones mentioned are pretty kickass.
