R2 DVD release

Does anybody know if the BBC are planning on releasing this series on DVD in Britain? Michael Wood's other documentaries (In Search of the Trojan War, In the Foosteps of Alexander the Great, In search of Shakespeare etc) have been released as individual DVD's as well as in a 'Michael Wood' boxset. There are rumours that the 'Conquistadors' series is a part of this DVD Boxset.

If this is true, will there be a release of indivdual DVD, seperate from the boxset?

If PBS has released the series in the US on Region 1, why can't the BBC release it on Region 2 in Britain?

Well I'm 6 years late in responding to your post, but the series is currently on Netflix. I've really enjoyed watching it too.
