You know...

This movie just stays with you for a very long, long time.

I remember watching this when it first came out in 2002 & not being particularly blown away (probably too young & ignorant back then. Who knows). But there was always 'something' about the film that stayed with me. I didn't remember the name of the movie, but I vividly remembered parts.

I mean, over the years, as I went about my life, I would always have flashbacks of the movie, certain scenes, certain lines, spoken, etc. & I would always think "there was this one movie that I don't remember the name of, but I just can't shake out of my system..." It was killing me not remembering the name.

Now, thanks to (I think?) Sundance channel replaying this movie over & over again, I finally was able to watch it again. Boy, am I ever thankful.

This movie is just so... I guess the right word is unforgettable? It's so poignant & so subtle but powerful all at the same time. I can't just say to someone "It's a good movie!" because this is beyond "good."
