...which is absolutely crazy and came out of nowhere. It makes no sense at all and I certainly hope it proves to be false. The past ten seasons of their antagonistic relationship would just be too insane if Lahey was Ricky's father. It would really ruin it for me.
shareIt makes a lot of sense. Maybe Lahey didn't know his dirty secret to be known around the park and/or to break up his marriage so he had to keep quiet about this. And he was disappointed with the way Ricky was raised and that's what made them feud so much. I think it's not a bad thing at all, if it's true.

I just cannot picture a father treating their son so terribly. To the point where they threaten to murder them in public, shoot them, try to blow them up, constantly send them to jail, etc. It's just too much. Their animosity runs too deep for it to be true. Unless you are a serious sociopath lacking any empathy, no one would treat their son this way. And Lahey, while a huge a-hole, does have a kind side. He isn't a monster, just a sad old drunk.
Why do you think he drinks? I don't Love it yet either but just have a couple drinks yourself and go with it. And where the hell is Tammy anyway?! Somebody better start checking truck stops - we need answers!

And btw, I think Lahey was hoping that going to jail will somehow make Ricky a better person and make him give up on crime. And trying to kill him or evict him from the park was possibly trying to hide Ricky from his sight so that he doesn't get reminded every day of the disappointment that his son was.
Actually people can come up with proof for either supporting or dismissing a theory, so we can do this all day long. It can be either way.
Don't remember this, hope it's BS. Always liked the relationship with Ricky and Ray.

Ray was probably a lot like Ricky was to Julian (Julian being Trinity's real dad) Ray just loved Ricky's mother more than Lahey thought he did and raised Ricky as his own son while Lahey (much like Ricky would have done for Randy Jr. if he'd not been adopted or whatever 'I was drunk through season 10 lol' and I am now) just wanted to take over the park... just finished season 10 and it's a great come back from what I've seen of season 8!! Could Julian be a future Lahey?...I don't think so but kinda thinking it...maybe Lahey and Ray used to be best friends?...liquors doing the thinking though lol...REALLY glad I got to see season 10 finally, I give TPB's a break after season 8 and thought that's what it would be like, I really enjoyed Season 10!!!
