s10 e06 is literally a jump the shark moment

Jump the Shark is an overused phrase but that is a moment where the season turned to *beep* Completely ruined the immersion of the mockumentary adding the celebs.

It would've been better if it was just Snoop. I rolled my eyes when I saw Tom Arnold show up in the car. And I don't know why Doug Benson was there. It was still funny though. Don't forget that they had Rush and Sebastian Bach on the show years ago. Sebastian wasn't too bad.

I disagree. Celebrities is a great way to show us that TPB is set in "our" world.

It's also very meta, like in one of the "On Set" clips where Mike Smith had to deal with Ricky stealing cameras from the production crew. If they don't make the show exist within the universe of the show itself then the question is "why have the Boys been filmed for long?"

The problems I have with mockumentaries are that they go on far longer than they would for an actual documentary and there end up being shots that a camera operator would not get and/or the subjects would allow to be filmed.

Snoop has said he wants to live in the park, this was when they worked it out for him to be on the show. But it should have been done properly. Snoop concert, they supply the dope, something goes wrong, Snoop goes broke and has to move to the park "$450 for a plane ticket home, I don't have that kind of money" and has to get in on the crime and BS of normal park life.

I totally agree. I'm watching episode 8 now and just feel bad for the show, not entertained at all. It's like they had no more ideas for the season and just phoned it in.

If it had at least been some CANADIAN celebrities it would have been a little better. But using Americans just reeks of selling out.

If they brought anyone besides Tom Arnold it wouldn't have been that bad
