When's the second season going to take place?

Is it going to be in between Spidey 2 and Spidey 3, or is it going to be after Spidey 3? Or are we still after the first Spidey movie.

What I'd like to see is, if villains such as Doc Ock or Sandman appear, Alfred Molina and THC do their voices. And if villains from the video games appear, they appear as they did in the game, to make the games/movie/and this show, all a part of the one series. (Even if the Lizard is going to be a little different from his Spider-Man MTV counterpart.)

If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight!

Well even though, the series was supposed to take place in between Spider-Man 1 & 2, it's evident that it doesn't. We see in Episode III that Dr. Curt Connors becomes The Lizard(is voiced by Rob Zombie). Apparently the writers of the show didn't collaborate with the writers of the films or director Sam Raimi.
I don't think there is a scheduled Season II. The show aired after hours, so the age range for these type of shows were asleep and not enough ratings were produced. The DVD is now considered a "Complete Series, " DVD set.

There was reportedly going to be a second season so as to connect the movies to the series (since the series does use a continuity from the first one), but yeah, you're right, it was cancelled.

There isn't a second season!

yeah, the show was cancelled after season 1

I was soooo mad when I found out it was cancelled. For me, this was the best Spider-man show. It was so much cooler and more original then the rest. And that episode Mind Games Part 1 and 2, I loved it a lot. They were my favorite episodes.

I'm disappointed too. I just finished watching the last episode yesterday and I felt frustrated. I want season 2! Pleeeese make season 2! Why was this show cancelled? I am looking forward to seeing the new series though.

If yall really want a second season go to the MTV site and email them saying you loved the show and want it back! Thats the only way something like this is gonna happen, you have to show them there are viewers for the show b4 they spend money on making it. I loved the show it was Amazing!

The show was actually a sucess, they didnt reach the intended audience totally (though it aired during the summer when most kids inclucing me were staying up late) MTV ordered a second season but the episodes were never made. There was actually talk about the second series of episodes being released towards the end of this year or possibly next year, i read on an earlier post that it was supposed to be released around the release date of spider-man 3. hopefully this is true, and hopefully its our soon, this show was never really wrapped up and its aniamtion style (cel shading) was phenominal.

It pissed me off when I heard this only had one season. It is kind of like it ended on a cliffhanger. Another good show that ended too soon by stupid people who work in television.
