Favorite Jeremiah character

If were to pick your favorite character so far, who would it be?

reply

I really dig Kurdy, and it was interesting to see his transformation from a man only worried about his self-interests, to a stand-up guy.

Good stuff.

reply

Ya, I have to say I did love the way Kurdy matured over the series. He was my second favorite character overall.

reply

Yes in the characters seen so far on SciFi, Kurdy is my favorite too. I like how he matures throughout the show, especially in the second season.

But my most favorite character has yet to appear!

(Hint: Mister Smith!)

reply

Gee, there's a surprise. LOL ETA: I'm on LJ and your adoration of Sean Astin and Mr Smith are legendary. :)

I like Mr Smith too, but if my username doesn't give away my favorite, then I don't know what does.

reply

LOLOL! Everyone's gotta have a hobby!

*guesses who you are on LJ*

reply

:) All you have to do to find me is look for my "hobby".

I didn't like Erin at first but during the second season she grew to be a favorite. I love the actress, she's great, but some things about the character bother me still. My favorite female was one we didn't see too often, Meghan.

reply

I love Theo. She gets better and better.

reply

I totally agree, Theo is amazing.

The odds are good, but the goods are odd.

reply

Theo is such a pain in the ass.. Which is why you must love her :D..

I do like all the characters. But I think Marcus is my most favourite. I also like Mister Smith very much.

reply

That was me too. Markus, Kurdy and Theo were my faves.

reply

Markus and Kurdy are my favs. I loved all of their scenes together. They were like hidden treats since they never seemed to be the focus but they shined so brightly.

Theo was lots of fun. Mr. Smith grew on me after a while, as did Erin.

I could have done without Libby, Devon or Sims. Although we did need Sims so that Markus could have that great line, "no snow, no rain , no you."

I suppose I could have done without Jeremiah as well, but he had his moments.

reply

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mr. Smith!!! I adore him! OK, so I loved them all. Jeremiah and Kurdy held my heart all during the first season and then I met Mr. Smith and he is just so adorable.

He is byfar my fave!

reply

Gina, was sort of a hybrid of some of my favorite personalities from another JMS show.

the girl kurdy sleeps with in the pilot

Gotta go Jeremiah. His Emily Dickinson-style "I have a feeling God probably exists, but if he does, *beep* HIM" mindset made for some interesting developments, and when you combine that with his good heart, you get a very appealing character.

I also loved Marcus. Kurdy I could take or leave. Erin was okay. Smith was obnoxious, but interesting. I liked Libby a lot.

Wish they'd left Jeremiah's father dead, just because it made the letter-writing less powerful.

reply

Best character was Samwise Gamji. HIm or the elephant that ran away from the circus.

reply

Markus had the right blend of realism and idealism.

I would have also liked to have seen Rachael, the black marketeer from episode 2.7, become a regular character.

reply

Definitely Theo. One of my all time favorite anti-heros.

reply

Mister Smith, Kurdy and Markus were probably my top favorites but I like Theo a lot, too. Jeremiah I could take or leave.
