I finished the series, and I am satisfied

I finnally finished this series. I watched the second season on Itunes. I bought the First season on DVD 3 years ago and have been going crazy wanting to see the second season. I loved Season 2. I'm sad that there is no more Jeremiah, but I thought the ending it had was pretty good. I am satisfied. Now, what to do? Maybe I'll start all over with season 1.

I find it sad that it ended when we could have had so much more. JMS built Babylon 5 from a rocky start to a pretty awesome and cult-loved show, and Jeremiah could have easily done the same given enough breathing room and faith. Instead, it rushes to conclusion in series two, but at least it is a satisfying ending with just a few loose ends (SPOILER... although it's realistic, it always strikes me as odd that Simms and Jeremiah never clash over Libby's other 'relationhip').

I would have LOVED to have seen Erin (who I disliked in S1, and grew to like as the show went on) fulfilling Smith/God's lonely prophecy eventually. I would have liked to see Smith reconcile fully with Jeremiah. I would have liked to see Lee get what he deserved (triple-crossing scumbag, IMO!). I would have liked to see Theo have her baby.

But at least we get an ACTUAL ENDING which is more than a LOT of canceled shows get (Deadwood, Earth 2, Firefly, Farscape... though the latter two got movies to try and tie things up in a very condensed manner) which resolved the current storyline.

NBC's My Own Worst Enemy was going to start a few weeks after I went to Basic Training. I thought it looked like a pretty cool show. Then when I got back from Basic Training, I found out it was cancelled. I just downloaded My Own Worst Enemy on Itunes, I'm on episode 4. I hope My Own worst Enemy has some sort of conclusion. But Since there's only 9 episodes, it probably ends in the middle of the story arc.

That show rules!! sucks it was cancelled, how typical. It was high quality and slater was so awesome , each episode was like a mini movie. Still can't believe it was cancelled......wtf

The problem is that Showtime's new management decided they didn't want to do sci-fi or fantasy anymore. Which is stupid. You have a great fan base and do something like that.

I also thought the ending was satisfying enough, but I felt sad knowing it was the last episode. In fact, I put off seeing the last few episodes for a few months while one of my buddies that I had turned on to the show caught up to the end of the second season.

It's a shame. It was a good show.
