vague memory

Hi,

I have a vague memory of a film where a tiny man I think dressed in red like a little santa helper(could have been a toy) has to climb up these huge stairs. I can't remember much more but somehow the name Quincy seemed familiar. Could somebody who has seen the film let me know if such a scene is in this film. Thank you.
