Is this part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

I'd love to see Sheriff Kyle Williams take a job in SHIELD.

This is the worst marvel movie I've ever seen! Its even worse than howard the duck! So even if its part of the universe they better should reboot it than taking this crap into the world of marvel from today.

If you think "Howard the Duck" is the worst Marvel movie, try watching "The Punisher" from 1989. "Howard" may be a disaster, but at least it's interesting. "Punisher" is just grim and boring.

Hey, "The Punisher" from 1989 was great. It was really true to the comics at the time (witch was my favorite part of the comics before they turned him in to a maniac). That's the REAL Punisher!

But without the famous skull on his chest...

Yeah, that was a shame. Probably to make it feel more "real" but seriously, what big deal would a skull on his shirt do? It is his mark, after all.

Punisher not a cop

but 89 was great, if cheesy and off true storyline.

Who replaced John Mclane with an out and out *beep*

No, the MCU started with Iron Man in 2008, this was a Lionsgate production.

There is some debate concerning the Man-Thing movie rights and whether they still belong to Lionsgate or now Marvel Studios. If Marvel has the rights then we might see Man-Thing come into the MCU eventually, we did see Ellen Brandt and AIM in Iron Man 3 after all.

I think it's safe to assume Man-Thing is back with Marvel considering the namedrop in Agents of SHIELD.
