How could this be anything other than a 10.

What I want to know, is how some complete idiot could give thing a 1, or a 2, or a 3, or whatever else you can vote for, and not be shot. These people have a complete lack of respect for how much thought, hard work, and drive goes into making a documentary like this, and of course, how much work goes into building the space station. These people should be locked up and never be able to see the light of day, because they obviously have no respect for being on this earth. Shame on you.

I know I'm 10 years late to the comment, but I know and have seen several people who have been convinced about the idea that space travelling is a luxury, and that spending resources on that luxury takes away resources away from more necessary things. This seems particularly important to those who feel very powerless, and feel that part of the reason is that some rich people ignore them.

You can argue all you want about how they should change their mind or whatever your view might be. But humans are not rational robots, and are very often skewed by emotion, personal experiences, viewpoints etc. There's no law or exact science that dictates how to rate movies either, so there could be many reasons why some people downrate it.

I haven't seen the movie myself - I just heard Elon Musk mention it today - but I imagine there could also be some people who are artistic snobs - in lack of a better term - who feel like the movie was lacking some artistic aspects that they expected. And there's also people who hate everything Tom Cruise does, regardless of what it is. And of course many other views are possible as well.

I hope these thoughts brings something to the table for you, even if it's ten years late.
