I've read that Hitler spent a lot of time digging though bookshops to complete his collection of odd proto Nazi magazines
He had sci fi fantasies, (had a hand in) designing costumes and uniforms, ignored realistic advice from his Generals and thought his sic fi super hi tech weapons would win the war
collected old magazines, was into costumes, lived in a fantasy world
He didn't design the uniforms, Hugo Boss and Prof./SS-Oberführer Karl Diebitsch designed them. Specifically the Black SS uniform.
The only artistic contribution Hitler had was the National Flag of Germany during the regime; the one we all know with the red background, white disc, and bold, black swastika symbol. Other than that, you're pretty much right about his fantasy world and ignoring his commanders.
Even till the end he still envisioned a Nazi Empire filled with Albert Speer's intimidating architecture like the Volkshalle.
From what I read he thought it was better to have a bunch of regular weapons not hi tech weapons.A lot of the earlier projects like nuclear, jets, etc were abandoned early on and only put into early production around close to the end of the war.By that time they hardly could produce anything with continual allied bombing. If he followed some of his engineers, scientists, etc opinions early on they would have won. They had stealth jets, nuclear reactor, advanced submarines, etc

Not really. They found a lot of that stuff. The only reason US invested so much in nuclear tech is because Einstein wrote to the president how close the Nazi's were to the first atomic bomb. The only reason US and Soviet Union were able to get anywhere with their space programs is because they recruited Nazi scientists, engineers, etc. They also had Horten Ho 229(stealth bomber) and were working on a submarine that could launch V2/3 rockets. In other words expanding the ICBM.
