Poisonmancers are underrated

every faq i check they say not to bother in poison skills , no poison dagger cause when will you use a dagger , well i made a poisonmancer and poison dagger turned out to be pretty powerful and the enemies die fast

I tried one out a long time ago, but didn't care for it much. I prefer pure summoners, but that's just personal preference.

Poisoners are fairly powerful though, they just have to be played properly and you have to enjoy a bit of a challenge. Good luck finding players that enjoy a challenge though...

i use to be only prefering in summonancing like the last poster

but face facts, people created the meleemancer class because his weak as hell, so making him into a fighting character is faster in success although dull and boring and you don't have creatures to block scary creatures that are of high levels that pop our when you open a door (brr)

however your partly correct, for instance, i tried the poison dagger thing, its useless, seems good at first but it just eats into your gameplay and concentration if your gonna use 'amplify' and then 'poison dagger strike'

since stupid poison dagger is made into a special movie, i reckon if you learn it, it should automatically go into your normal movie, but whatever

thats what i meant by partly right, i.e poisoning move is great to rip through enemies, but i suggest a good weapon that has poisoning power right now im replaying the game, i have a spiked club i think its reasonably strong with poisoning power, poison is the only thing with FULL points in attacking (eg poison 8*)unlike elements which are like 1-28 (which is more like a ratio system)

i have poisoned club and preserved head with poison i am OVER 30 dmg points at lvl 10, i'm near lvl 18 soon...and i barely use/update my stat points and skills. I have the luxury to save them for a rainy day :)

with just summoning i can use up my stats i.e strength and skill tree, and still have problem winning and leveling up.

I just looked up a guide for Necros, and I'm going to try the poison route. Poison/Bone Spirit, for the immunities. Only putting one skillpoint into the requisite skills at a time, to save them for the lvl 30s. Sucks to have all those tempting skills just sitting! But worth it later when I can max out a few lvl 30 skills.

In the end, Okonkwo threw the Cat.

In nightmare mode though, undead are damn near immune to poison. wouldn't hurt to have something else to fall back on ;)

I hate immune guys x_x That's why I'll max out bone spirit, and I'll have my fire golem. So the chances I'll have of running into someone who is immune to ALL my crap is minimal. I'm going to love immune to physical guys :)
