Don't you find some bodies disturbing + confusing?

While it's just a game, did anyone ever find the bodies of humans who fell victim to Diablo's minions throughout the adventure disturbing? Also, the manner of how they died or the state they were left in, has it confused anyone?

1) Act 3, The Flayer Jungle, just outside the entrance to Lower Kurast. On the river rocks to the left, you can see a naked body. I can't even tell if it's a male or female. It bugs me as to why it's naked. People don't bathe stark naked in rivers completely oblivious to the situation. Or did they?

2) Act 1, The Jail levels. Torture devices everywhere. The demons clearly made full use of everything, instead they used them to kill their victims and not torture them. The sign of body parts still tied/stuck to those devices don't lie. The victims were most likely inmates or even rogues.

3) Act 2, Claw Viper Temple level 2. On the left side of the wall there are 2 female corpses tied to the wall. Once again they're naked. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw them was that those poor women were raped to death. Why else would demons abduct them, pin them to a wall and strip them for?

If anyone who played all three games (Diablo, D2 & LoD) found them diverting, somethings must be really wrong with you. I won't take your profound interest in art as an excuse.
