Does Jackie Chan GET IT ON in this movie?

I'm writing a paper on how Hollywood emasculates Asian actors by NEVER putting them in a physically intimate/romantic setting with females of other races (Caucasian, African-American, etc).

I haven't seen this movie, so can somebody tell if Jackie Chan has a romantic relationship with anybody? And if so, are there physical interactions between them (kissing, etc).

Thanks a lot.

Not that I remember. I know some guys wife tries sleeping him and he gives her the ol' slipperoo and gets out of there.

Now that you mention it thought you are right. Asian men are treated terribly by Hollywood. It is kind of like when Sylvester Stallone was going to be in Beverly Hills Cop. His love interest was transcended into "just a friend" when Eddie Murphy took over. Hmmmm, I wonder why? Is it because the chick is white and Eddie is black? Geez, someone in the producers seat needs to get their boots on right.

He just explained it. He wants to know if there are ever any non-emasculated asian men in hollywood.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0342258/
He kisses.

I love how professional you acted by using the phrase "GET IT ON". I hope for your sake you don't put that in the school paper.

jackie chan gets the hot irish girl at the end of the medallion

reply

He gets down on Gorgeous too but that's not Hollywood.

Harold from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle gets a little action.
Other than that good question.

On the other hand some of Chans movies form china may not even have women in them(Fearless Hyena)

reply

They get to do crazy martial arts and stuff, though, so it's not all bad for them.

reply

Really does Jackie Chan GET IT ON in any movie including the ones made in asia/by asians. In Rumble in the Bronx they set up not one but two possible romantic intrests(both asian)and there is no physical contact with either one that i'm aware of.

reply

He does in a lot of his HK films, but never with non-asians.

And there's never any sex scenes, rarely any kissing either.

But this is normal in HK. Romance isn't often linked to kissing or sex. But hugging and words expresses it appropriately in their culture.

I doubt he'll get any in hollywood films. He is over 50.

reply

no the real reason is cuz jackie chan has one exeption for all his kung fu movies, he says no sex scenes, because some of his fans are kids and they dont need to see that

reply

Lostn if you didn't say this, I would've. I've noticed in a lot of asian movies in general that love isn't expressed in sucking face or steaming hot sex scenes. It's almost weird in our culture to have love interests only hug in movies but this is generally what you'll get in asian movies.

I'm not sure if I want to see Jackie Chan getting it on though.. But Bolo Yeung on the other hand...

It's an old conception that people go to movies to see the blue eyed tall guy kiss the hot blond virgin. Or something...
