When does this come to theatres???

When does this movie come to theatres?

reply

It doesn't come to theaters. It'a a 3-D movie in Williamsburg,VA.I saw it.It was pretty lame.

reply

Just to say... This also was released in Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay. I think that this was not meant to be scary, even though the name is "Haunted Lighthouse" And if it was, why did they have Weird Al (the funniest man alive) in it? He was the man who delivered the Catfish Suprise :-) Just my 2 cents.

reply

Yeah, it may have been lame, but the kids I was with loved it.

reply

It's at the San Diego, California Sea World park too...

reply

It also came to San Antonio Sea World

it is in all sea worlds and busch gardens i live san antonio i saw it like 4 times everytime we went to sea world and it was ok my brother loved it he is only 7 though

reply

That's shitty, I didn't knew it was a 3-D movie. I think I'm never going to see this here in Germany.

Two things are endless: The universe and the human's stupidity. I'm not sure about the first

reply

It's actually 4D where water sprays on you, the seats vibrate and shoot air at you and other cool stuff. The story was lame but the effects were fun. I saw it yesterday at Sea World.

Natalie -- the song she sang was "The Little Horses". This site hads a midi of it and the words:

Charlotte Church sings it on her CD, too. Can't recall which one, though. Maybe Enchantment.

And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.

I saw it in Buch Gardens in florida..they have a ride there called Haunted Lighthouse..it was cool..the water sprayed at you, the seats moved, when there are rats you feel somethign running past your legs..its cool

reply

I also saw this at Bush Gardens when I was in Florida for the summer.

reply

I went to Busch Gardens in September and saw it. I didn't realise RL Stein was a childrens writer. So I sat down expecting to watch a spooky horror flick. Well it was so cheesy I didnt know if I should have laughed or cried.

reply

Well dont worry everyone a new flick is coming about in 2006 or 07. I cant remember its name but supposedly its good.

All fears aside its not but RL Stine (although he is a pretty nice guy in real life...)

reply

yeah i saw it this past tuesday when i finally made it over to busch gardens tampa bay. the film was decent for a short family 4D film but i think the wait to see the film is probibly the longest ever... once i hit the seats and sat my eyes closed and i have no idea how long i was out cold for but as soon as heard the crowd cheer and knoticed the lights going down it ment the film was starting.. in all i think busch gardens need to work on their turn around on the film A LOT!! muppets 4D and honey i blew up the audiance at disney is no where near the wait this show has. at disney as soon as the main bulk is in the theater and seated they start.. if your not in the first pack that came in the theater your waiting on the next show here it was like ok people come in move all the way down poeple comeing in behind you... and then sitting there forever as like 2 or 3 others walk in after several minutes as time ticks by... and your sitting thee going WTF!!

ok as to the film it was pretty decent they could have done better with the children ghosts at one point when christopher lloyd found the letter tacked to the door i about expected him to scream "GreaT Scott!!" and look up across the bay to the light house. it seemed so fitting with lea thomason and him there and then i was like you know micheal J Fox could have made a better captain and you would of had a BTTF reunion of sorts!! i think they did over do it with the water effect cannons tho when me and my buddy walked in we were like what is this a water show???? cause the seats were semi soaked! painful part was its obvious the theater is old and has been there since day 1 of busch gardens opening! the least they could have done while putting together the ride was remodel put carpet in or something and make the place look new again.. i figure if busch gardens can build a new coaster every 2 to 5 or so years and build a private helicopter pad in the middle of the park they can afford to remodel the theater haunted light house was in.

reply

actually the theater at busch gardens tampa FL is fairly new and was just built about 2 years ago.

I have never seen this 4-D film. I was just skimming IMDb and wanted to see if R. L.Stine did any movies. And I saw this and found out it was just one of those lame movie rides (they are all lame, and you know it)

I am amazed you guys came here to discuss it, I am amazed that IMDb counts this as a film... i guess it is, but barely... damn! I didn't know there was a demand for IMDb sites dedicated to amusement park ride films. I think my local theme park (Paramount's Great America in santa clara, CA) has been playing "Days of Thunder" for like 15 years. They have added other ones too, but they come and go while Day of Thunder always comes back. Plus they have 2 theaters so they have made use of that in the last several years.

But wow, you guys, the acting isn't supposed to be good... it is just a theme park movie that gives the machines a chance to knock you around and spray mist at you. You think that they would spend good money making it a quality short film? They did a good enough job that they got you guys thinking about the film after you walked out of the ride, (you came to IMDb searching for the title, didn't you?), so I think they did their job, if not better. I never had the urge to look up a 4-D film on IMDb before. Like I said, amazed that you guys came here. jeez...

I saw it on a 5th grade road trip. We went to Busch Gardens and we saw this film. It was not perfect, but ok.

then the chosen one learned a valuable lesson about Iron Claws,THEY HURT LIKE CRAP MAN!!!

reply

i dont suppose they have the 007 one anymore either huh? or the ride still there for that matter?

reply

I've seen it twice, it's lame. The Pirates show was better.

reply

It's at the San Diego Sea World too. I've seen it three times just because my brother is little enough to like it.

It really sucks, the end credits are probably the scariest thing in the movie(talking about the dancing, quite terrifying)
