Is Joe Dante back?

That guy made some of the most entertaining films ("Gremlins 1+2", "Innerspace", "The 'burbs") perhaps ever made. Recently he made mostly TV-movies (which were without a doubt great).
This movie sounds like a good Joe Dante comeback.
