Just watched the movie, thought it was great. Not sure if this has been discussed before. But was it implied that Evan's mum's other 2/3 babies that had died in the womb, had also killed themselves like Evan did?

shareNo the theatrical release shows Evan going back to his birthday party and telling Kayleigh that he hates her, which causes her and her brother to go live with their mom so she never grows up with Evan and she never gets raped by her dad. In the end Evan and Kayleigh pass each other on a busy sidewalk and he turns around and it ends.
shareYes it is implied that her other stillborns went through similar experiences like Evan and went back in the womb to kill themselves the same way Evan did. The part where Evan goes to see the fortune teller is where it's implied. She tells him he has no life line, which is what she probably told his other siblings as well. Then outside his mom calls him her miracle baby because of her previous stillborn, which also implies she said it to at least the second born child as well. Then at the end, she tells the fourth child(a daughter) that she's her miracle child because of her previous 3 stillborns.
