OK on the secret clip of Jack Frost 2, it says on the trivia that the third installment is currently in production. Yet that was 2001. So does anyone know what happened? If that was actually true and they just stopped filming or that it was just a rumor...

Jack Frost 3 did get made. I Tivo'd it when I saw it on a couple of years ago. The snowman ended up on a tropical island where someone he hated was taking a vacation. Shock of shocks, no one noticed a snowman on an island that never had any snow.

Own the original on VHS, have never seen the second one. Haven't even seen it for sale or rent. The clip on BOOGEYMEN is all I have seen of it.
Its too bad that movie will probably never be made because the first two are masterpieces. Its even more unlikely since the actor that played Jack Frosts nemesis just died. After watching Part 2 I was actually motivated to come up with a story for the third one. What a bummer.

The guy, that Sheriff actor? He's dead. So I guess he won't be in the third, or at least they won't do another without him.
I remember when IDENTITY came out, the guy who made this wanted to make a serious thriller remake, but seems impossible hence the subject matter, so I guess that's why it never happened.

The Jack Frost trailer can be found by selecting "Special Features" from the main menu, once in that menu, select "Flixmix Recommends", then click right on the highlighted "Upcoming Flixmix Titles" and the "Jack Frost 2" logo wll be highlighted.
