who else thinks De Niro is great in comedy roles?

Coz I really do love him in comedies, dont get me wrong, my favourites are the classics ie Raging Bull, Goodfells etc, but I just feel he is so charismatic and funny in films like Midnight Run, Analyze This/That, Meet the Parents/Fockers etc...they always make me laugh and they are just great films, I personally can watch over again..

His facial expressions and mannerisms just crack me up - he is brilliant!

I understand, some people hate him in comedy roles, but dont bash me for having an opinion...

Yea i like his performence in comedy's 'Midnight Run' being one of my favourites, thou i would like to see him going back to non comedy roles as well, like in casino and taxi driver.

Most actors are either realy good at comedys or drama's De Niro excells in both genre's.

I agree, I would like to see him do similar roles, but those roles arent really gonna be made again, but I get what you mean - it is great he can turn his hand to both - but please, no more Godsend - or Hide and Seek - plllleeeeasssseeeee!
