Jade was annoying and stupid!

how come this woman never tried to escape for real with lucas? she "tried" and tried", but everytime she was closer to the plan, she inmediatly regreted going back to her house and husband, putting lucas in a difficult situation. he went back to morocco more than twice asking her to come with him. then when she travel to brazil, she didn't want to go with him AGAIN.. she really had problems, I think jade liked the attention of everybody, and also all things had to come to her way as well.. very annoying!if i was her i would jump outside the window when lucas appeared there and came for the second time to morocco!that would be the case if she really was in love with him!

Have you ever thought about her religion? maybe she was afraid of the ounishment...also she thought about her daughters...

reply

It's because her religion...She' wasn't sure that Lucas loved her, she couldn't trust the brazilians. And Lucas began acting strange ( because Diogo died ), and then she felt more insecure

sorry, I couldn't finish my response *stupid browser*

so, to finish with, what if Lucas would have left her in the middle of the street, how could she return to Said? Her life would have been ruined after that

reply

Well, i`ll agree that she was rather annoying. I think her and Lukas` quarells and reconciliations were a bit too many.

*a response after 9 years, hehe. I was only 12 back then*

I think she is stupid because, towards the ending (in episodes 230-240), after she struggled to win her daughter's forgiveness, get back in Said's house and be accepted by her family again, she promptly refused everything just because she 'didn't feel like it'. I mean, in your 40's, you don't just give up on all your comfortable life, break your child's, your caring family's and your husband's (a man who was always there for you and always forgave your infidelity, not letting you go through punishment -a thing that few men would-) hearts, just because your heart tells you so and go wandering on the streets wherever your feet carry you. Because her meeting with Leo was purely accidental.

At some point, you have to make compromises, accept your reality, listen to your rational mind but not to your teenage fantasies and go for what's important. I mean, you try so hard to get back to your daughter and raise her, because she needs a mother, but then you abandon her just like that. She was incredibly stupid. It was a mockery to everyone that cared for her.

But I think the plot would have turned out too plain if she settled down.
