I think better subtitles would have raised my score.

I rented this from Netflix, and the subtitles were adequate, but the whole time I was watching I had a feeling I was missing out on some key dialogue. When Juan was looking through the missing persons files and newspaper clippings, none of that was translated. There were also some oddly abrupt conversations - for example, I never caught why the initial missing persons case was reopened or why the unidentified man buried elsewhere was suspected to be him (I watched that part twice because I've been known to zone out lol). Munoz seemingly had thousands of missing persons file prepared. There were conversations that continued for 3 minutes and produced 2 lines of subtitles. This movie has pretty high reviews elsewhere, so I'm thinking something was lost in translation
