Has it stood the test of time?

Good Day, Everybody here,

These days the game is available at our store for about $25 ("PS2 Platinum series"). Is it worth buying? I mean, it’s been quite a time since its release. Has it stood the test of time? Would you advise me to buy it now?

Further questioning:

1) Is there blood in the game?
2) When a grenade detonates, does it lead to corpses' flying?
3) Is controlling the game via a Dualshock convenient?
4) Does it visually make any difference if you shoot an enemy in the head or, for instance, in the leg or hand?
5) Which difficulty level would you advise to use when playing for the first time?
6) Does it have any black-and-white documentary footage?

Thanks for your replies in advance.

Regards

reply

1. No blood.
2. There is ragdoll physics, although not as advanced as newer games.
3. Yes, Dualshock control works extremely well.
4. C'mon, it's a 2002 game. Of course it matters what part of the body you shoot! That was already present in GoldenEye 007, a 1997 game.
5. Even on Easy, the game is pretty challenging.
6. Lots of B/W war footage.

In other words, you have every reason in the world to buy it.
