Not optimal for 'close quarter combat', anyone agrees?
Hi there, didn't really know what to call the thread but i hope someone understands what i meant to say (maybe not, i'll explain it a little better).
What i'm talking about is those "in house" levels where you had to turn around coerners in order to keep progressing, "Clipping their wings" being a prime example. The thing is that you don't really have any control what so ever and it's almost inevitable that you're going to take a couple of hits before you kill the enemy. This ofcourse doesn't really have any impact on the lifebar as a whole but it does detract from the gaming experience when you just find yourself running around on auto-pilot and keep getting hit. No smoothness or anything compared to those open field/long distance levels where you could play it like a pro.
I definately think EA recognized this when they went on to create European Assault.
Any opionions?
