Degrassi almost never re-used names of characters over all shows!

Hi all,

This is just something that i noticed from watching this show for years and years, if you go back through Junior High, High, Next Generation and New Class, you almost NEVER see a name used more than twice...

the only ones i can think of are Rick from Junior High and Rick from Next Generation (both were side characters) and Luke from Junior and High and Luke (Beckys brother) from Next Generation (also not too big characters)....

i just looked on Wikipedia for Kids of Degrassi Street and all the episodes are named after a child on the show, and the only name from all of those, that is reused is a Liz from Kids vs. Liz from Junior/High..

are we suppose to believe that over like 25 school years, that the main characters never never had overlapping names, even if it was 10+ years before...

edit: Forgot about Maya (girl in wheelchair in DJH) and Mya from DNG and DNC

J.T Yorke and Jimmy Brooks both were named James. They just had different nicknames.

There's also Jack (Spike & Simpsons son) and Jack (Imogen's girlfriend).

There is also Wheels who's real name is Derek and Derek Haig, Heather Farrell and the unseen but often mentioned Heather Sinclair, just to mention a couple

Dan Raditch and Danny ( Liberty's brother) short for Daniel.
