Did they ever explain where she went or what happened? Did she go back into a coma? Did she end up dying of her injury? (Which I find highly unlikely) Did she move away/go to a different school?
I missed some episodes so I don't know if it was ever explained.

It was a deleted scene and Terri would have stayed at Degrassi and not have been put in a coma if Paige never asked her to leave for taking Rick's side when she tried to warn her away from him.

There is still a part of me that can't believe Terri was gone after season 3. Sometimes when it's late at night and I can't sleep, I watch all of the seasons 4-7 episodes of Degrassi after the episode, Back in Black and look at all of the Degrassi students in the background and in some of those episodes, the camera would zoom in on one who bears a close resemblance to Terri and for a split second, I swear it's her. But of course, it never is.
