shareNo, he did not contribute to Chris' overdose, he contributed to Amy's. Amy did overdose, but as far as the movie shows, she didn't die. She was in a coma. Chris took it willingly, on his own, it just happened to be in Owen's house, and he wasn't only 16 like Amy.
