Grief as a barometer... ?


It struck me as odd while watching this how some people expect a person to shape grief into some kind of 'tool' with which to evaluate their life. The film is an often comical and very real look at this curious phenomenon. If you're a fan of any of the performers involved, or this kind of viewpoint seems like it may interest you, then I recommend that you give it a look. 6/10.

wow i cant believe there was only one post on this board, well the only reason i watched the film is because i am huge fan of John Hannah.

I think it's a beautiful movie, wonderfully acted, very warm and enchanting. I adore all of Lewis Gilbert's work.
