Question

I have the grace legacy edition. On it, it has a dvd with like hidden interviews with jeff buckley. Well he states that music is endless and that so many types of music has captured him. But then on this dvd he goes on to say that the 60's 70's and 80's are no good. isnt that a bit weird.

reply

No, he was young and confused, and contradicted himself a lot, as artists will do. That's not weird at all.

Read Dream Brother, a book about he and his Dad. It will give you some good insight.

"With our wings that bark, flashing teeth of brass, standing tall in the dark" - David Bowie

I think that statement is more of a plea, that people would stop making references to his father and embrace the fact that his father's gone but he's here, live in the present coz you're missing an awful lot. He wanted people to look at his music not him or his father, he wants them to pay attention to the music he's playing, not to the legacy of his father.
I second the Dream Brother recommendation
All we're saying is give Heath a chance!

all *beep* except the smiths maybe?

personally never really cared for the smiths, wouldn't go as far saying i don't like them, i'll quite happily listen to them, but meh.

Jeff Buckley was a visionary, a musical genious. I wish he was still here, as grace has guided me through many a hardship, and it would be wonderful to be able to thank him in some way.

Has anyone else used his incredible music to endure heartbreak? its a fantastic help i must say!
