35mm or Digital Betacam?

Does anyone know if this movie was shot on film or video? It looks good on DVD and I thought it was film but on the second disc behind-the-scenes piece a Sony Digital Betacam seems to have been used to shoot it .Or was this just footage of rehearsals and not the actual shoot?Unfortunately the second disc doesn't have subtitles.
