I'm a bit surprised the BBC has never released this on DVD nor have they ever re-broadcast the play after its initial premiere back in '82. You would expect there would be some demand considering David Bowie is in the lead role.

It's no longer there, any other options?

And whilst Baal itself is really very good (and funnier than I was expecting) there is so much in the Alan Clarke box to discover. I remember watching Psy Warriors and The Firm as a kid, but much of these to plays were before my time. It makes my long for a more elightened era of TV drama, instead of the parade of cookery, basic science, murder mystery and reality TV we get now. I really can't think of anything like Baal on UK TV now, although I would welcome anyone to correct me.

It was an expensive blu Ray set, but I'm so pleased with it and I'm sure it will provide many entertaining hours and will help me to avoid pressing numbers 1-5 on the tv remote.
