screw what anyone says, surprisingly good.

SO i caught this film on fearnet at 4:30 am, looking for something to fall asleep to...granted my mind was not at it's peak, but I ended up awake until the sun rose. I'm not saying it was genius, but it was actually really enjoyable, pretty funny (sometimes laughing with the movie, sometimes laughing at the movie) and i hope it forms some type of cult placement. In order to successfully enjoy this film you kind of have to let your guard down and stop being so judgemental...The action begins immediately, never ceases and you're left changing your predictions a couple times in. Yeah, it's fairly obvious to tell who is going to be dubbed what sin but that does not take away from the suspense as to how it will all unravel.

Did anyone else take this movie for what is was and let themselves enjoy it????

P.S. Nick Stahl's awesome. Wish he had more mainstream success.

i dont mean gay like homosexual...i mean gay like retarded.

i agree with that. i saw it on fearnet looking for a movies that i could watch so i could just chill around the house all day, and this movie wasnt horrible. yeah, SOME of the acting was bad, but i liked the plot and stuff of the movie.

Liked it too.
I thought this movie was hilarius and the 80 minutes it was on passed so quickly.
It was crap, but it was good entertaining crap.

Remember, you're fighting for this woman's honor...which is probably more than she ever did.

I thought it was a great movie, I enjoyed it very much
the story was different from what i usually see out there
the house was cool, and i like this type of genre

Gotta disagree with the OP. A bad movie in every way. Bad acting, terrible lighting, laughable dialogue, obvious twist, no reasoning behind what anyone said or did, etc...

It's fine to have a non logical horror/thriller, I have no problem with that. But when what a character is doing or saying, doesn't even make sense to them, you know you have a problem.

And MrCinema, with a name like that I assume you'd have seen a lot of movies. So I can't figure out how this is different from what's out there? APRIL FOOLS used the EXACT SAME formula almost 20 years ago. This kind of plot has been numerous times, and almost every one of them is better than this version. For someone who likes this kind of genre, you don't sound like you've seen very many. Sorry if any of that came off as mean, or jerk-ish, which is not the point, I assure you... even for free in the middle of the night this movie was weak and not worth watching...

I found your post reasonable until you said things like 'obvious twist' and that April Fool's day used the exact same formula. How did they do that exactly? April Fool's is nothing like this movie except that they are both horror films. How did you predict that Elizabeth and Christian were brother and sister and he would go on a rampage after learning this information?

A broken clock keeps better time than you do. At least it's accurate twice a day.

I didn't think this movie was terrible...obviously not great, but an entertaining enough way to spend 80 minutes on a Saturday night. That being said, I definitely figured out Elizabeth was Christian's sister early on. The exact moment was when her and Benjamin were standing in the hall looking at the painting and Benjamin telling her the story of Christian's dad sleeping with the prostitute. I then remembered the 6th card that was suspiciously absent from those that arrived on the doorstep and knew it talked about sleeping with a relative. So that didn't surprise me at all...I also figured they weren't dead for some reason, but was semi-surprised when they weren't (only to be killed again of course). Again, not a terrible movie...could have been better but definitely could have been worse!
