Christian reveals to Elizabeth that he poisoned her (with the wine?) and says it's the best way to go. She asks him what will happen and he says "First you'll lose consciousness...." and blah blah, and then she says "No, I mean what will happen to YOU?" and the camera shows Christian and fades out.
So are we led to believe that in the end SHE poisoned him? So she's the last one standing?

I took it as he poisoned her AND himself. Most likely he didn't want to live with the fact that he killed all those people. I know he's rich, but how could he cover all that up. But then again, even if he could, he prolly wouldn't want to live himself, knowing what he'd done. Hope that makes sense.

shareI don't know if they poisoned each other or if he poisoned both of them. He said they were guilty and had to pay for what they did so I was led to believe he poisoned the wine completely and not just her glass. I don't know if she poisoned him because she wanted half of what was hers and wanted to marry him...I don't think she would have done that right away (maybe eventually after he told her absolutely not).
