Good, except for one big mistake

I liked this film though the director should've never played the lead character. A. he can't act and B. I think a first time director has, I guess, other things to do. but I guess having not that much experience might not give you such a great judgement about your own acting.
Still a good movie but I guess other beginning directors are warned never to cast them selves in big roles (still, Kevin Smith choose the best one :)
