movie DD vs. tv DD, who wins?

Whoever'd win, i bet it'd be close. Factor agility, strength, "super powers", and ability to fight. Anything else to factor?

Your in luck, just finished watching DD 2003 myself after Netflix Season 2 version came out.

This is a tough one.

Both versions defeated Fisk and Both utilize super hearing.

Hmm... I feel Movie DD has the edge. He has a grappling hook, a walking cane that can be converted to sticks / nunchuck and this version DOES NOT Hesitate to kill. HE WILL KILL YOU.

TV Version DOES NOT KILL. That is the key difference between both versions. If both versions fought, Killinng intent > Non-killing intent Daredevil.

Seeing as how the TV Matt got his ass kicked most of the time, Movie version looks like he got more experience and he can take alot more damage than his TV counterpart.

Case in point... he got injured by Elektra / Bullseye then at the same night, took down Fisk. THAT is something the TV Version can never do. He'll die by then.

So Movie > TV version by far

TV DD and it's not even close. Cox seems like he could really kick someone's ass, Affleck seems like he's a drunk on a trapeze.

The same DD who got his ass kicked and almost killed by Nobu? by Punisher? by Fisk? By a bunch of Russian mobsters who almost killed him and near death in a dirty dumpster only to be saved by Claire?

That TV DD? Please. Movie DD survived Elektra, Bullseye, AND Fisk AT THE SAME NIGHT. No comparison.

Did you just try to dispute realism with the fact that Cox actually gets a beating? LOL! Of course Affleck wins in what is essentially over-choreographed square dancing. 

Care to explain the FOUR ninjas who just stood in the same place the entire duration of the fight in the S2 finale? The FOUR ninjas who served absolutely no purpose in the scene, except to wait for a command, only to get off'd by Frank anyway? The FOUR ninjas who WAITED for Elektra to finish saying her cheesy "last words" to Daredevil?

Realism my damn ass. 

Not saying this movie was the slightest bit more realistic. I'm just saying neither of them are.

It's been awhile since I've watched the film but I'm pretty fresh on the series. Also know a decent bit about the source. As far as a source adaptation, TV wins. I couldn't say who wins in a "battle" sense. Film DD is already well into his progression of being Daredevil. The TV counterpart is slowly building to be the superhero we know. It's a series which will likely have more seasons given it's success so he can't be this untouchable character. You started with Daredevil in the "Man Without Fear" style where he's just wearing a rag over his face. He's new to the game. Also, Daredevil isn't Superman or Wolverine or *insert overpowered superhero here*. He's a little more vulnerable. Four highly trained ninjas kicking his ass is pretty realistic when, yeah, he's skilled but he's not yet this kung fu, trapeze powerhouse. It's building up to that. I think it has more to do with the medium rather than the depiction of the character. I would pose this question when the series is over rather than in it's infancy.

season 1 daredevil would lose. season 2 daredevil would mop the floor with affleck's version.

S2 DD got his ass handed to him by Punisher and he got roughed up by Fisk while visiting him in prison. He took a real beating in season 2, At best he can live to fight another day. Maybe in S3/Defenders he might have more of a chance.

Let see. The Movie Daredevil could actually do Daredevil Stuff. Like flip off Roof Tops. Actually hear sh!t coming from a mile away. And jump like a monkey. Charlie Cox gets his as beat half the time. But it helps the movie actually had a budget.

The tough thing is that we don’t exactly know how long movie daredevil has been suiting up. Probably not overly long as Ben Urich and the goons Daredevil takes down are the only ones who know he exists, even the chief of police is in denial. Charlie Cox character is at the beginning of his career. I haven’t seen season 2 yet but definitely the movie daredevil was the stronger of the two. He was also a lot more careful, not as many characters found out his identity and he didn’t lose a single fight.

only thing the movie got right is the costume. thats it. take that and its the tv all the way

reply

The TV version is more realistic in that thugs and bikers can give Daredevil a good fight. The movie version had more superhuman feats.
