The superficial aspects that a lot of people disliked are still there. The Evanescence soundtrack, the rough CGI at places, and Ben Affleck is still Ben Affleck.

If you cant accept those things, then yeah the DC might still suck for you.

However imo, the DC destroys MSJ's Ghost Rider. It felt like he actually took Daredevil seriously. The film had real weight. Ghost Rider was just a trashy mess of a film that tried to make excuses why it wasnt good. It treated GR like a complete joke.

The villains in Daredevil had menace. They felt lethal and like they had a purpose. Bullseye felt like a genuine threat.

The villains in GR all felt like jokes, especially the four elemental henchmen. Even the Devil himself couldnt do much.

The romance between Matt and Elektra felt more natutal. Cheesy at times, but more natutal than Blaze and Roxanne's. That romance was there just because a comic book film 'needed' one. Nothing about their romance felt organic other than when they were young adults in the first part of the film. The minute they became Cage and Mendes, they became jokes.

Daredevil has its problems, but it took its world seriously. Ghost Rider makes 2005's Fantastic Four look like Batman Begins in comparison.
