What was the other thing the ladies son collected?

At the end where it showed what the skinny guy wound up doing a test broadcast or whatever interrupted the movie and I never saw what besides comics the kid got from the women when she died.. I remember her saying her son didn't just collect comics though so I figured it was mentioned .. Well, anyone know?
