Who thinks Dune 1 + 2 are the same as Avatar?

Cameron is a fan of the novels and this series as he hated the 1984 monstrosity, he was influenced by the novels.

Exactly. Avataar was a direct knock off of Dances Witth Wolves. The momment that Jake was inroduced to the tribe, I could see exactly how the show would unfold.
