A friend of mine recommended that I should see this. I have never read the book and I didn't really enjoy the original movie since I saw it as a kid and was kinda bored by it but then I watched Children of Dune. All I got to say about it is BRAVO! The acting is superb. I just want to say thanks to the director, actors and everyone else involved in this! I was glad to see how good the costumes, music and CGI was. By the time I got to the end, I was shedding tears. This is storytelling at its finest!

I'm far from an expert judge of acting, but I thought this was very well done, and I got a lot out of it.

The one big weakness for me acting-wise was Daniela Amavia. I thought she was godawful as Alia; I cringed every time she was on the screen.

I thought she was awesome in the role, but that's just my taste. I've known a few unstable beauties in my time and she fit the bill nicely.

It really was some fine acting, and some great production values for a tv movie, they really stretched the budget to it's ultimate extent.

They are all incredible actors and Alia was terrific. Brilliant had all the emotion.. Incredible actors

I totally agree. It is certainly the whole team to thank for, who created this atmosphere. Great acting, great directing.
