Video Watchdog review?

I just blundered into this film the other night on Showtime (or Cinemax or whatever) - I swear I had read a very thorough and thoughtful review of this film in the fine magazine Video Watchdog (which is the only reason I knew of it in the first place) but for the life of me I can't find that particular issue (nor is it listed on the VWD webpage) - can anyone help me with that info?

thanks

as to the film - sure, it is a budget film - nonetheless, I found it quite moving and the scenes with Anna (the mask girl) in particular were heart-breaking - I know some folks compare it to Thin Red Line but for me the more direct comparison is Castle Keep (especially the whole hidden art plot device) - I enjoyed it and have no trouble recommending it - and I also recommend that elusive Video Watchdog review - lots of background (including a story of how David Warner nearly went to fisticuffs over Burr's treatment of Linda Thorsen)

Maybe try this if you can remember what year the issue was, I think 2007...

it's in VW #138 - the Roger Corman issue, pages 60-61 - now that I've seen the film, the review really hits home - apparently the child actors really were Romanian orphans - anyways, recommend the review for anyone interested in the film
