Great Movie, it's not a War Movie

This is a superb movie... Absolutely stunning... Loved it... It's not a War movie even though it's set at the end of WW2 and involves some soldiers, a Tank and some civvies, but it's not a War movie. If you're expecting to see an explosive action War movie then you'll be dissapointed.. It is however a really interesting and enjoyable 'Near End of War' time action/drama.. Nice drama to start, all action from midway to the end.. Watch it, you'll love it, so long as you're not expecting to see a War Action Epic...

hmmm i think it was a lame movie. The beginning was good with that minefield, but the rest was lame.I really didnt like those weird flashbacks.

I kind of did like the flashbacks, but I guess it's just a matter of preference. The action scenes augmented with the flashbacks was a really interesting approach. It made the action very disorienting + I almost felt like it was a ghost story for some reason.

That's an interesting statement, as a lot of people wonder about the ghosts on the cover.

If you're looking for a strict genre effort then this isn't a "war film." I'd say it is a war film but with a lot of other layers included. What it isn't is a brainless action film. I like it a lot. The story is definitely different and it's a great looking film. The documentary about its making is worth the price of purchase for anyone interested in low budget filmmaking.
