blank menus

whats with the random pictures that become fuzzy/clear as time goes on and then routes you back to the main menu if u leave it sit. One is a picture of ants or bees really close up, one is of some sort of rib cage looking object, and the other is of grass or plants. I'm thinking its just Trent being creative, but just wondering...
