Continuity

OK,

First let me say I am a huge NIN fan. I really enjoyed this DVD. I enjoyed it too much. I watched it too much. This is not one show but several spliced together to look like one show. Guitarist Robin Finck has 2 hairstyles and outfits. Drummer Jerome Dillon has 2 outfits. Keyboardist Charlie Clouser goes from a cargo vest to a brown tshirt and back in one song.

Again, great show but my suspension of disbelief was ruined when I noticed these things.

just a humble opinion. Like I said, I'm a big fan and love the DVD nonetheless. I just hope they have a better editor for Beside You In Time.

its not a movie.. no Continuity really needed... he is not trying to give a story but a montage of the tour...

That is what Trent wants you to think! The costume changes are to make you think it is not one continuous show while at the same time make you think it is one continious show. God, he's good.

hahaha he's openly admitted that this was not from one show. The same goes for Beside You In Time. I'm personally glad that he opted to record multiple shows (which you know has GOT to be expensive) so that the best work could be presented to us. This is actually a pretty common practice amongst live DVDs and CDs.
