I Kinda Like It When a Lot of People Die

Hey there guys.

I read that George had to switch the title (from its original name, see topic title) of this special due to 9/11. My question is, how different (if any) was the material in comparison? I read a review on Amazon that said it was a lot more darker and funnier. If anyone managed to see him on this tour, would you mind giving me (and anyone else browsing here) some insight on it?

Personally, I'm wondering if the material was something similar to "Life Is Worth Losing", since it too was going to have the title "I Kinda Like It When a Lot of People Die". Perhaps George decided to switch the title but said *beep* it" in terms of cleaning up the material.

So, thoughts?

Bump.

He was also originally going to use I Like It When A Lot Of People Die for his 2006 CD, but was changed to Life Is Worth Losing due to Hurricane Katrina.

As for the content itself... I think Life is Worth Losing is by far his darkest production; Complaints and Grievances was a lot more upbeat and had the usual Carlin charm to it (not saying the latter didn't have the signature charm, though).

You've been in my life for so long, I can't remember anything else.

George strikes/struck me as the kind of guy who'll make a change to appease people... but then make sure that said change, while appearing to be a compromise, simply masks a darker intent
